Ahhh! I should have checked your bio first. "Open New York" is the absolute worst. You are gentrification cheerleaders. Simply pushing for "more" construction (while apparently in this instance denying it's taking place) rather than demanding more public housing and affordability.
For anyone following along, Open New York is a pro-real estate group that lobbies for new development without demanding it to be affordable. It claims to be "grassroots" but has clear ties to real estate even though it is a largely opaque Delaware corporation that doesn't fully disclose donors.
