I wonder if we will get to the point of having warnings or certifications on every news story that says whether or not they are AI generated to some extent. That defeats the purpose of the AI industry, but they aren’t completely in charge. To maintain legitimacy, platforms could start warning.
Indeed: hand transcription, indexing and footnoting of the historical sources I examine, as opposed to offering crap photocopies and terrible OCR, was always a selling point.
Now I can expand on that to say that there are no AI processes of any description involved in anything I offer.
