Dealing with my mother is one of the hardest things I've had to do. She's a textbook narcissist who can only be negative and rope people into arguments and I just don't know how to avoid the pitfalls sometimes.
I always read people's takes but I find I'm too afraid to respond because if I hold an opinion people disagree with, their first reaction is to assume I meant something malicious by it. Believe me, I want to hold better positions but I think they should also be equally open to discuss it
