Not interested in the Zemeckis griping (on the Other Site). Also, the source material is good and pairs well with him: “here’s a specific confine you need to work with.” I think that’s a good thing.
I don’t love all his movies (I can only imagine what the other site is saying), but he’s made at least a few all time greats, and I always respect that he is usually making a solid attempt to use the filmmaking in new or interesting ways.
