What's really disturbing about the debate fiasco is there's no way to be confident that Biden has it in him to pull off the near-flawless execution he'll need to win at this point. At a minimum, the Bidens owe us a real conversation about that. My take: newrepublic.com/article/1832...

Anytime someone says "We need a real conversation about X" what it means is "We've been talking about X for a long long time, but now we want everyone to repeat to us exactly what we've been saying.

It's like that phrased "Biden needs to listen to X" They don't want Biden to listen to X they want Biden to instantly agree with X.
