It already is. The heat dome over Africa this week is going to kill 1000s in the Sudan this week and nobody other than UNICEF seems to be even talking about it.🥺

It's not irrelevant to me and I'm just a simple white gal in Canada. I think if the Billionaire owned media didn't control the flow of information more people like me would care. The masses are spoon fed what's important to them and that's become the weapon that's destroying humanity.

We continue to ignore that part of the world. A part of the world that by the end of this century will be home to half of all children born on the planet. What happens to them happens to all of us.

White privilege. Colonization. Which some dictators want to go back to. That same "conquer" mentality exists today. And the indifference towards the Diaspora.

The 'middle' part of the globe will be completely unlivable very soon. The "we don't want migrants" people should be sent there for a few months to understand what people are migrating from.

They should be the ones that should be sent to Sudan,Burkina Faso,Congo, Rwanda and Mali. Places where dictators or jihadists run the show. With few rights for women.

I think a lot of people just tune out anything about climate change in other countries because they think it doesn’t affect them. They are going to be in for a big shock this summer

They only care about themselves.

They'll start to care when it hits their hood. Floods, high heat, fires and choking smoke will make them care more.

Yes, info about heat dome in the Saharan area has been suppressed since 2005, because it was noticed that a big heat dome( then from bombing Mideast) resulted in a sequence of high cat hurricanes. So, what do you think will happen to the rest of the planet w this? Ain’t gunna be pleasant
