Awesome news that won't get enough attention. Thanks to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law passed in 2021, $366 million will fund 17 solar, battery, and hydropower projects in rural and Native American communities. Clean power and reliability going to places that need it the most. 🔌💡

Mississippi is on the board! In September 2023, Cummins, Daimler, and PACCAR announced a joint venture and planned $2-3B battery factory for commercial electric vehicles. Late last week, they picked Marshall County, MS. 2,000 jobs heading their way. 🔌💡

I realize we currently live in a time where political discourse and media coverage is a total disaster, but man, in a few decades, this is going to be super cool to reflect back on. Historic and trajectory-changing investments taking place since the passing of BIL, CHIPS, & IRA. 🔌💡

Great data & reporting from @nytimes.com today on the rise of pedestrian deaths over the past decade - especially in the dark. My takeaway: our safest streets are in cities, but the housing affordability crisis in those areas has pushed people to suburbs and/or less safe streets.
