The New York Times has mentioned Christopher Rufo more often in the last year than at least 4 cabinet officials (I didn't check them all) www.findinggravity.net/p/the-new-yo...

I would challenge New York Times employees to name a single progressive strategist who would be favored with a New York Times article simply for posting a few tweets critical of a newsroom executive. There is none. The Times privileges Rufo because it agrees with him.

the only thing that Chris Rufo and I agree on is that people should read my newsletter about the New York Times being in the tank for Chris Rufo www.findinggravity.net/p/the-new-yo...

I am pretty sure that because Chris Rufo tweeted this, the New York Times must BY LAW write an article about me

This is why I insist that Rufo does not "manipulate" the New York Times et al; they are his co-conspirators. bsky.app/profile/mmas...
Except that, unlike the accusers in the Salem Witch Trials, Rufo repeatedly states in public "I'm going to do everything I can to present shit out of context to destroy the lives of people I dislike, can you believe everyone keeps just going along with me when I do that?"

I actually find Christopher Rufo extremely uninteresting and unimportant. He's just the mascot; the New York Times* is the problem. It's using him as an excuse to do what it wants to do anyway. If he didn't exist, they'd find another. Just as they did before anyone had ever heard of him. * etc

Matt Drudge was just erased from their memory like George Bush was, huh?

I was reading Foner's Fiery Trial a few weeks ago, and I'll be damned if it didn't sound like the Times has been up to this for at least 160 years.
