I'm worried about our little bean, Célestine. For two days now she seems weaker and way less active then usual. She's usually very energetic~
Our vet isn't here this week so I'll bring her on monday. The substitute doc gave us antibiotics on case it's an infection, but I'm not sure it is.
The snickerdoodle cookie appears in American cookbooks around 1890, but the name is a mystery.
Best guesses:
1. There's a German cinnamon pastry: "Schneckennudel"
2. It's a Scottish portmanteau of snicker "laugh" + doodle "silly person"
3. It's just a good, fun name for a cookie.

Während Türkischer Apfel dir ein heimeliges Gefühl gegeben und dich mit 'Hey Chef hab ich dir extra viel Apfel gemacht!' begrüßt hat, hat der Neue mich nur beleidigt und 'HEIL KICKL!!' geschrien.
I just got home from a camping weekend with friends and we had fresh waffles made in the embers of our campfire, bread from a stick and bacon, beans and eggs, all made on the fire. I love outdoor cooking. Especially when I can cook for and with friends ❤️

The pride flag on our balcony is ages old. I got it for my first or second pride march...about 15 years ago. Hanging on our balcony for some years now the colors lost vibrancy and lose ends started to appear.
So...I got a new one 😌
