I did a fairly long thread on Lummis Gillibrand back at the Old Place. Quick hits for ya’ll:
- the bill will probably not move in the Senate due to Chair Brown opposition
- it will inform amendments to McHenry Thompson
- the biggest innovations are mandatory proof of reserves and CEO attestations.
My most controversial opinion is that rather than having one giant public square like the bird app, it would better if there were 30-50 midsize apps, and no one could be active in more than 5-6.
The single public square makes us all insane and worse versions of ourselves.
