Canada is the sole WC 2026 to advance to the knockout rounds in Copa. Vaya con Dios, Maple Leafs.

All three hosts of the 2026 World Cup are in real danger of not advancing from group in Copa. (Chile playing with 10 tonight definitely helps Canada’s chances.)

Thanks. What’s the origin of that nickname?

No idea, but les voyageurs were the fur traders who played a large part in building our country. I think the supporter group is called The Voyageurs because they've put together groups to travel to WC qualifiers where we used to ALWAYS be outnumbered 3 to 1 at home.
