The first bloom of my new “Hamari Gold” dahlia I bought at the Hampton Court Garden Festival last week. And there is already a guest, also yellow, on it. 🌱

Incredible results in France! Everyone expected the hard-right to win, but now the left is actually leading!

1/2 Today is World Chocolate Day, and it also marks one month since I opened my online chocolate shop! 🎉🍫 It has been an incredible adventure so far, and I can't express enough gratitude for all the support I've received.

I've wanted to learn piano for as long as I can remember. Today, I finally bought a small keyboard to get started. Hopefully, I can stick with it and my ADHD won't have me jumping to a new hobby by next week. I welcome any advice (I will be learning on my own, without a teacher).

Back from the Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival, and once again, I couldn’t stick to my to-buy list! My haul includes a dahlia, some carnations, a succulent (will it survive?), a fuchsia, a rosebush, and more. Here are a few pictures, of the festival including a shot of Adam Frost rapping.

The Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival tomorrow will be the perfect occasion to buy a new dahlia, as one of the new tubers I planted this year hasn’t shown any signs of life. In contrast, the pictured “Wizard of Oz” dahlias are thriving beautifully.

My Oregano ‘Kent Beauty’ is in bloom! Although it is edible, it’s not particularly tasty and is more commonly used as an ornamental plant to add beauty to gardens and flower arrangements.

It is quite hard to take pictures of my Chinese meadow-rue due to the small size of its flowers, which is unfortunate because they are some of the prettiest. I bought it at the Hampton Court Garden Festival last year. Only two more days before I go back and my wallet gets much lighter again. 🌱

Never had so many “Labyrinth“ dahlias blooming at the same time. Couldn’t be happier. 🌱

How sad is it when some of my chocolates are about to go out of date? Not at all. More for my wife and me to eat.

A rare occurrence but when the fridge is empty and you don’t want to go out… make some crêpes 🥞

Today on the terrace: all my old dahlias are now in full bloom. The new dahlia tubers planted this year are a few weeks behind but are showing promising signs of growth. Gardening truly brings such joy and satisfaction as you watch these plants flourish over time.

Another (too) warm day ending, only one more before it should start to get better. Didn’t prevent me to make another homemade pizza though. 👀

I'm melting but at least the dahlias are happy. Varieties are Labyrinth, Café au lait, Wizard of Oz, and Red Jill. ☀️

A bit of an experiment tonight. Rice noodle and teriyaki lime chicken. What will you have for dinner?
