Dude! Visited the Petäjävesi Old Church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It’s a wooden church from the 1700s that has not burned down. “All the others burned down, for one reason or another,” our guide informed us resignedly.

Check out this funky chandelier, original to the church. It is so old that it came around to being cutting edge again.

The pulpit is covered in carved figures.

The approach to the church is a beautiful field humming with bees.
