Update on emotional support chicken: need to do the beak, comb, and belly, then stitch it up. Ignore where I did a color change on the wrong side or don’t - I’m leaning into the imperfections with this one.

Still have the whole block from Arborway I think to Ukraine Way fully locked down- BPD wouldn’t let the bus drop off people at the actual station.

Just got @audrelawdamercy.bsky.social’s book at my local indie bookstore (Papercuts in Jamaica Plain) and I’m excited to dive in!

Sammy has a double coat and most of her body has black fur, so she can get hot pretty fast. I bought her a cooling jacket (basically a dog outfit that you dip in water) for extra hot days, and I think it is very cute.

I was pretty sure I wasn’t going to watch the debate and opening up BlueSky has been so very reaffirming of that decision

Also there was a heron flying around the Leader Bank Pavilion last night at Sarah McLachlan. Eventually it decided to hang out by the spotlights and then directly above the band…
