At the point where people arguing that Biden is fine or we should all get over the debate feels like gaslighting.

I am very concerned —spend my career writing — about the threat of Trump and the far-right.

But Biden didn’t offer a vigorous defense of anything other than his golf game. How am I not being gaslit right now?

I will vote Democrat no matter what bc I think the right is dangerous. But why am I expected to lie about what I see? It seems absurd to blame “the media” for this.

Observing the scam that neoliberal Democrats have run for two generations, then describe calling it out as gaslighting, leads nowhere useful. But it encapsulates the disastrous state of liberal politics.
