Dude! Visited the Petäjävesi Old Church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It’s a wooden church from the 1700s that has not burned down. “All the others burned down, for one reason or another,” our guide informed us resignedly.

Check out this funky chandelier, original to the church. It is so old that it came around to being cutting edge again.

The pulpit is covered in carved figures.

The approach to the church is a beautiful field humming with bees.

Please note this very fine bee.

Have something bee like from southern Finland in exchange of this excellent bee.

Aspen Glasswing sounds like the names we made up as angry young pagans.

And looking like a hornet suits that quite well. Yeah I am a Glasswing, but I totally look like a large hornet!
