Every time I've called out the racism and xenophobia directed at Jaskirat, 100s and 100s of people tweet at me that if you killed 17 people in an accident, you deserve prison and lifelong suffering. Yet, those same people are reaaaaaaaal quiet on this case.

It’s not just racism. It’s also the fact that Jaskirat’s accident killed Young (White) Hockey Players. If the bus had held seniors from a reserve, we would have probably seen a different outcome. But the Cult of Hockey is a different thing, as well you know.*

*This is not to downplay the deaths of these kids. They did not deserve it. But you can’t deny that it fanned the flames.
