Usually those are spent recuperating from the pain and fatigue generated by work shifts

Its almost like we live in a society that actively understaffs and overworks people in order to cycle through them faster to keep labor costs down as experience in this world is expensive. But nah it can't be that, cause were #1. If were #1 were clearly doing it right and this just something else.

I feel you I once did 1 hour commute each way with a 12 hour shift 5 days a week. My life existed as wake up go to work, come home, go to sleep, be so exhausted by the weekend I slept through it and repeat. The combination burn out and exhaustion was very real being away from home for 70/hr/wk

I manage my department at a college (Business and Marketing), which is a standard 5-day-per-week job. Then I have teaching, which, since this is the summer and all the teachers want vacation, while all the students want evening and weekend classes... x.x

I was private security back then on a roving patrol. Drive an hour out into the armpit of west by god virgina and drive in a circle for 12 hours overnight along a 3 mile stretch of road back and forth back and forth then coming home to get bitchslapped by insomnia.
