I do NOT want my money to be given away to wealthy families to send their kids to private religious schools that have no oversight or responsibility to maintain any sort of educational standards. But wealthy people want that tax money so you’re out of luck.

I know. It’s so sad though. Our country is supposed to guarantee a free equal public education to everyone. Handing money to people to give private-and then private religious education to wealthy families is against everything this country was founded upon. 99% of this country will not benefit.

Saddest part is they blame poor people for draining the system when it’s been the wealthy - always.

Correct. Through tax loopholes and not paying their fair share. When. The conservatives talk about the 1950’s, that’s when there was a 70% tax on income over a certain amount. They don’t seem to talk about that.
