See it could be real for a simple reason - there's 5 time more white people in US than Black ones. Like yeah, in a statistic a majority will be more represented than a minority.
Even if it’s a “real” stat, there’s huge reporting bias in how the calc is determined. My guess is a black person killing a white person is almost always counted as a crime but whites killing blacks - if reported at all - is often dismissed as self-defense, justified, etc.
