I was invited to dinner at friend's house. I thought that these cut flowers were fake. Nope! I was even further surprised to find out they were peonies. The peony bushes around our house make white flowers with a hell of a lot more petals & are less dramatic than these gorgeous flowers. Beautiful !
I had the most beautiful single peonies in a deep magenta when I lived in Michigan. When we moved to Georgia I had to leave them and my roses behind. I never found anything to equal them. Peonies grow down here but only just.
