I'm totally like your dog. It's like I have PTSD when going, if I go out at all on the 4th. My good friends have a BBQ every year and I had to pass last year because I get too anxious and have to stay inside their house while everyone is outside. This year the BBQ is on the 3rd so I can come.

It's surprising that there haven't been many fireworks this year. Normally, they're a nightly occurrence. It seems that the enthusiasm for this 4th of July may not be as widespread as it has been in the past.

I had a pointer - she was like "Yup, don't care. Sounds like hunting" I have had dogs that are SUPER upset, but I took her to many fireworks. Same deal "OK. Are there hotdogs?"
