There’s a man at the bus stop - no legs. Sitting in the grass. Wheelchair in front of him. He’s not bugging anyone. Has no tent.
At midnight tonight, technically, the city can have the cops give him a 100 ticket. Or arrest him if there’s “reasonable shelter.”
Fuck this shit.
Basically they can persecute anyone who’s outdoors, because they can suspect them of being unhoused.
Argue with them and they’ll “fear for their lives” and we know where that ends.
