He has been an excellent president, the best of my 55 years. With the exception of 2 issues, he's governed at the center or to the left of the Democratic Party. On the 2 issues - Israel and immigration, he's been to the right of Dems, but probably in the center judged against the country as a whole.
I think that last assessment is too pessimistic, sadly. He’s almost certainly to the left of almost all republicans and a good chunk of democrats (whether most or not, I don’t know), which would put him left of center for the country as a whole.
You may well be correct. My only point is to put more context around the two issues in which so many online leftists lose their collective minds. We may want Ol' Joe to do xyz on Israel, but to jump on @tft.io 's hobby horse, there are people with very different views.
