So I'm rewatching Ghostbusters because it's on Peacock and
1. It's amazing how much story isn't shown and they trust the audience to fill in the blanks
2. This is movie you've really gotta see at least once as a kid to get its hooks in. I think if you saw 1st as an adult today, it might not connect
Ghostbusters is a super fun movie but after rewatching today with no expectations, I can safely say that the weirdest fans don't actually "miss" Ghostbusters, they miss being kids and playing make believe Ghostbusters adventures with their friends
Definitely a kid's movie. Not like...a movie made for kids, but you're right on about #2. I watched it for the first time in my 30s and I was like "it's perfectly fine."
