Ugh, that last post has me spiralling now. Remember kids, no one is impressed by sacrifices you make or has respect for things you haven't done.

I grew up watching my night-shift having father be smothered by his dead dreams and swore that would never be me, and now here I am, at work until 1:30, snatching all the overtime I can just to stay afloat, and feeling the same weight.
