Probably; nothing is perfect. But I hear of places that keep huge percentages of credit-card tips.

That is true. I prefer to tip in cash when I can in any case. Makes tip-out easier for servers, too.

OOF that they’re allowed to pay employees less than minimum wage and expect the difference to be made up from customer tips.

yes awful but even if they do/did get paid a fair wage boss better keep their hands off their tips
