Hi Bluesky, I want to share a bit of our #BTSHistory with you. Hopefully, it will help you understand why we're so passionate and loyal to these seven Korean men. This is for any new ARMY that may be here as well.
New ARMYs, do you know why we tell you to learn our history? BTS and ARMY don't have a typical fan/artist relationship. Our relationship is symbiotic. We work together. ARMY and BTS both started small. No one knew our names. (Share with new ARMYs).

#BTS worked hard, always giving 110%. Their hard work paid off, and they began to grow, and ARMY grew with them. We became the wind beneath their wings, pushing them higher. During the WINGS era, fandoms came together to try and literally break the boys' wings.

ARMYs trended tags and worked tirelessly to keep the boys from seeing the HTs. But during the Wings Tour finale's VCR, we learned we failed. The boys smiled and comforted ARMY, knowing all the horrible things being said about them.

That is why I want to share our history with you. So you know what we stand for. ARMY doesn't tolerate solo or manti behavior. We stand against ageism, racism, and xenophobic behavior because that's the example #BTS has set for us.

May I add smth? We don’t have an “official” chain of command in ARMY. We all help ea o & anyone can claim the title. But if you see someone pushing a narrative that omits (or levels hate upon) 1 or ANY other members, they are NOT ARMY—no matter what they claim to be.
BTS is 7 ALWAYS.
It’s a blend word of manager and anti, which describes an alleged fan who is basically working against the group, believing they know what’s best for them, better than their actual management.
That part about the Break Wings Project is important because cosplaying as ARMY to ruin our reputation to people who don't know better is still a common thing. There are people who will use a BTS Profile picture, an ARMY sounding username and even created some posts to pretend to be one of us. ++
The they'll use that to spread discord, be vile and nasty, run amok, & give people a false impression that it's ARMY behaving poorly. People have been caught bragging about doing this and giggling about it because they hate the reputation ARMY has built. It's fun for them to think about ruining us

IMO that's why BTS concerts are next level. We don't go to sit in our seats; we chant and sing our part of the songs. ARMY makes their performances. The Tannies suffered during the pandemic performing w out hearing ARMY. ARMY sang for Yoongi when he couldn't during a song at his last concert.
