Personally I make a point of coming up with a contextually relevant insult when my Bard character casts Vicious Mockery.
The full context is the guy was doing a 4-5 sentence spiel for every spell cast. The amusing part for me is the DM apparently doesn't know how to say "Jesus, Craig. Wind your fucking neck in. Brevity is the key, mate"
