We've all seen the meme recommending we "touch grass." The grass in the left photo is at a surface temperature of 109F/43C. You don't want to touch that. The woodland pasture on the right with a large blue ash had a surface temperature of 78F/25.6C at the same air temperature. Make your choice!

My goals for the summer: clean up the property a bit more (yard work, weeding, dump runs), learn how to use my new (used) mat cutter, get a shit ton of raw canvas on a roll, scavenge for more scrap metal for Echo's welding, make some yard art, and work more on editing the books for beta readers!

"Yeah, Sure!" My partner and I collaborated on this 24"x36" canvas. It's acrylic, paint pen, and oil pastels. This is what cutting loose looks and feels like! Every decision met with a casual Yeah, Sure! Why not! Go nuts!
