Not an interesting take but this is why I can’t read any pundit who supported the Iraq invasion. That big asterisk invades my mental field of vision and I inevitably stop reading.
Oh, I understand completely. And so few of them have done any kind of in-depth analysis of why they got such a large, prominent, widely discussed, and lethal issue so wrong that the asterisk is essentially permanent. And (not that this clown needs more dunking) here's an example of the opposite:
