My current experimental #NuclearEmbroidery. I am working to improve my skills & stitch repertoire which also involves improving my materials. A notional Teller-Ulam thermonuclear explosive design on a linen-cotton blend. Interstage is my first serious long-and-short attempt & it came out ok.

…what sort of embroidery did the Stasi do? The juxtaposition here is part of the effort.

Doilies and napkins celebrating Stasi anniversaries and such. I’ve also seen a silk (?) scarf marking the 10th anniversary of the “Anti-Fascist Protection Barrier.” I’m morally certain there are other similar delights floating around out there.
