Ah, the credits are finally updated! If you have been watching the dub of Mission: Yozakura Family on Hulu, I have been writing the closed captions this season. Always very cool to work on adaptations of Shonen Jump titles!

Plunking away just a little bit each day on writing for this potential future project. 58 Google Docs pages sure does seem like a lot. Well, it's not done, and I don't know when it will be. Been a long time since I've written this much.

Seeing somebody make a post about some closed captions that got fucked up due to AI, knowing that a legitimate caption file exists that they damn well could have used instead of the AI because I WROTE THEM 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃

Shoutout to the guy at Anime Expo last weekend who, when I complained that Shout! couldn't form a competent line for people to meet a costumed character, tried to say it was Toei/Bandai's fault 'cause they don't let the license holders do anything. Bro, they can FORM A LINE AT THEIR BOOTH, come on.

I can be super clear when I'm talking about "closed captions" that I am referring specifically to the text intended for English audio, most often for the hearing-impaired, and people will still think I'm talking about subtitles on something from another language.

Lotta bot follows over here in the last few days.
