1. Biden was NEVER an inspiring choice. In 2020 exit polls, 2/3 of those who said that they'd voted Dem said that they hadn't voted FOR Biden/Harris but AGAINST Trump.
2. His #1 "selling point" was his ability to "reach across the aisle" (read: "kowtow to GOP"). But, try hard as he can, GOPers sayπ
3. Biden only won the all-important swing states in 2020 because *Progressive* volunteers (many of them Sanders' fans) worked like stink in those states, campaigning for a nominee they didn't really like, swayed by concessions he'd promised.
4. Due to his defaulting on many of those promises (e.g.π
he never really FOUGHT for a federal $15/hour minimum wage, announcing "we've probably lost this one" BEFORE the Senate debate), and especially due to his #GenocideEnabling, many of those volunteers won't work for him again. In fact (with thousands of others) they've sworn not even to vote for him.
5. Biden was always a weakling in the face of the GOP (a party with which he identified as a young adult). He has never fought - will never fight - it energetically on behalf of its victims. At best, he stands, useless, on the sidelines. At worst, he helps it achieve its aim: to push USA rightwards.
