Someone said this Don Simpson comic was a "hit job." I'd never interacted with Simpson but had blocked him ages prior. Taking it for granted Simpson wouldn't see my comment, I said that I wasn't interested. He somehow saw my comment & sought out my email address to berate me.

Francis Ford Coppola got his friend Robert Towne to write the big scene between Vito and Michael for The Godfather. Marlon Brando didn't know who Towne was but was grateful for the scene:

The new Blu-ray of 1934's Black Moon has some color! Color tints & tones were prevalent during the silent film era, but I've never seen the technique used in a talkie. Donald Sutherland (1935-2024) In addition to his excellent work in films like Don't Look Now, Ordinary People, Klute, and the first remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers, I highly recommend the audiobook of Sutherland reading Hemingway's The Old Man and the Sea.

I closely examined some of the shots of Frank Miller inking in the trailer for that documentary on him, & I thought, "What's that thick Micron pen he's using?" I hunted online & discovered Sakura makes three Micron Pigma GRAPHIC pens, two of which have chisel tips. I ordered those (2mm & 3mm).
