As soon as Wenner moved Rolling Stone's editorial offices from SF to NY in 1977, the magazine pivoted from credibility & solid rock journalism to become just one more whoring, trendsucking "celebrity" + "lifestyle" rag. Springsteen manager Jon Landau was the only R&RHOF member who sided with Wenner.
