That's scary. We're also in a drought & it's not stopping fireworks every night since 6/1. Not sure where they get the money. Nor, do I understand how they could be so careless.

The smell dissipated after about 1/2 hour, and I was able to go back to sleep. Nothing burned. I hope that was the last hurrah for the year.

That's super annoying. I'm glad you were able to go back to sleep. I hope that was the end of it, too.
