Annual tradition in LA where we wait for the first dumbass to set off a firework that lights the top of a palm tree on fire.

In San Mateo, the dumbasses were lighting off cherry bombs to see how many car alarms they could set off. It went on for 4 hours. My heart ached for people with babies and/or pets.
