Something I would really suggest doing is to interact with the accounts from Gaza on here- even if you can’t send money just sending verbal support and love can make a real connection. I think it’s easy to make this genocide abstract and the people impacted abstractions- so fight against it ❤️
The moral support piece of this is so important. Every Gazan I know has told me they appreciate knowing there are people across the world who care about them.
Posting this not to be self congratulatory, but to share a recent instance of taking the temperature on personal interactions with Gazans. (Also blotting out names bc this family is fairly private)
I feel shame doing that. Both because I'm typing from a place of safety and comfort, and because we're the ones enabling their murder and misery.
I remember when George Floyd was murdered and the people went out to fight, Palestinians were the first to voice solidarity. I'll remember till I die.
