I'm amused by how many people told me that they're jealous that Zai got to meet our dog Jake. 😄Like we tell Jake all the time, everyone loves him. 🥰

For anyone who needs it today: It's okay if you're feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or you half ass it because you're just so darn tired. The world is a lot right now. I see you out here doing your best and it is enough. You are enough. I love you and I believe in you. 💗

Omg thank you to our friend Zai who very kindly offered to drive down tomorrow and just give us their AC unit from storage. I have no words for the incredible kindness of people in our community. Ron and I are grateful. Thank you. 🥰

Ron ordered a new filter for the AC and it won't be here until Tuesday. Ron has been running it in short bursts so it doesn't freeze up. We have fans, we both have neck fans, plenty of cool cloths, lots of ice cream, popcicles, and of course plenty of water.

If my menopause hot flashes could stop mixing in while the AC is on the fritz, that would be great. I seriously shoved my head in the freezer for a few minutes. This bullshit really feels like a design flaw and I'm so over it.

I'm happy to meet new people and chat. However, if the first thing you do is be rude I'm instantly suspicious of you and then you continue being rude then it's a ban. Get off your parents internet and go do something productive with your time, like learn to be a better person.

Ron came home early. The humidity and heat are really bad today and it really messed with him. His boss didn't argue when he said he was going home. He's doing better now after having some water and snacks. Please be safe if you have to be out in this heat. 💗
