'Smile' Author and Illustrator Raina Telgemeier Announces New Kids Graphic Novel with Scott McCloud (Exclusive)people.com The writer and illustrator is teaming up with author Scott McCloud to publish a new graphic novel for young readers, 'The Cartoonists Club,' which will publish in spring 2025.

Raina was my kid's absolute favorite for a long time, and he also ran off with my copy of Understanding Comics during the same period. He's a bit older than the target audience at this point, but I know he'll be excited to share this with his younger cousins.
