Many years ago, I used to sell @mutantstandard.bsky.social merch via Redbubble. I got a few made for myself, many ended up on storage boxes. When moving to this new place, I needed a makeshift thing to take my toiletries into the shared bathroom, so I went for this one with an orc sticker on it.

Hey, sorry for the lack of Mutant Standard 2024.02, I am faced with housing insecurity at the moment so it's hard to keep my head on the right track as well as do all the things I need to do. I think the next release will have to wait until I have enough stuff and/or things get better. 💚

Someone on the Discord mentioned to me that Google has made a tool to build emoji fonts that will probably work a lot better than the tools I tried to make. I know some folks out there still want fonts, so if you're one of them, you might want to check it out: github.com/googlefonts/...

It was a very rough year for me, there were a lot of times where I could not get work done, but I still did a good many things I'm proud of and have been really happy to have the opportunity to do, here are some of them (not in chronological order). <3

All of the completely redesigned or new smileys in Mutant Standard 2023.12. I have said in the past that a long term goal of mine is to make my smileys among the cutest and most expressive out there and I think I am considerably closer to that goal than I was with the previous designs. 😄

Quick patch for Mutant Standard 2023.12!!! There was a small design error in U+1f925 'Lying Face'. This has now been fixed and the changes have been uploaded to the website and build files.

Most changes have already happened, others (like my Discord name/identity) will take time because there's a lot more work involved. I've already updated the Mutant Standard site with this name, and the upcoming 2023.11 release will reflect this name change too. (🧵/3)
