#Shogun episode 9 was insane. My jaw literally dropped. Several times.

#HiroyukiSanada and #AnnaSawai are both nominated for their performances in #SHOGUN at the 2024 Television Critics Association Awards.

The weakest point of this tv show is the performance by Cosmo Jarvis. #Shogun

General Mizoguchi had the last laugh by asking young Toranaga to assist him in the seppuku. Sure, the kid defeated his army with strategy but he couldn't properly perform the most basic ritual after. Mizoguchi taught Toranaga a lesson by humbled him with his death. #Shogun

I am currently watching #Shogun. Anjin, aka the white man in the story, decided to try natto. The reaction Mariko and Fuji gave, it was so subtle but also so on point. Sure. Costumes, make up, hair, location, sets are incredible. But *this* was the most Japanese thing I have seen in the show.

What were your TOP 3 kdrama from the first half of the year? We are listening…

According to my doctor, my back injury will prevent me from working for the next month or so. Absolute bed rest was the order. We all agree I’m too young to be dealing with this but this is the result of not taking care of yourself properly. Lesson learned. To be better now.

#TheAcolyte episode 6: at first glance this could be understood as a filler but this is a much needed break from the action. After all, there are a lot of unanswered questions and doubts related to the origins of Mae and Osha. Another great hour.

#TheAcolyte ep 5: The shit hit the fan in ways I was not ready nor expected. Seems like nobody is safe in this story, RIP to the legends that left us in this hour. Thank you to the cast for such an amazing job. And to Director Alex Garcia Lopez, you had me at the edge of my seat.

#TheAcolyte episode 3: I need to more about this coven and their power. Mae’s reasonings against the Jedi are rather weak when you know her part of this tragedy. Did something else happen while Osha was locked in the room? That was an excellent hour of tv.

#TheAcolyte episode 1: strong introduction to the story and characters. Production quality it’s solid, performances good enough to make me curious about why these developments are happening. I am invested. Let’s do this!

Vinny owns Lisa more than a ring because she 100% won this case for him. Sure, he’s a smart and crafty man, but this was her movie and you can’t change my mind. It’s a fact. Rating: 8/10

I don’t like this judge. I don’t like the way he’s talking, looking or breathing. This judge is a condescending idiot. I can’t wait for this film to either, prove me right and him having to shut the hell up. Or, even better, wrong and me come around about him. #MyCousinVinny

Watching a film where #LeeByungHun would feel threatened by the mere presence of #ParkBoYoung was not on my bingo card but I am here for it. That scene when they walk past each other, starring deadly into the others’ eyes. DAMNNNN!! #ConcreteUtopia

Lanthimos is a master of constructing rigid social structures and let his characters dwell in a transgressive limbo, between grotesque and caricature, suggesting human nature is a weave of fine and crude textures. Rating: 8/10

Axel Foley is back and even better. I haven’t seen such a good action comedy in a long time. It felt both, comforting and new, to watch the whole original cast and the new additions have fun playing their roles. Don’t miss out on Axel’s new LA adventure!! Rating: 9/10

I just realized the perfect kdrama while hospitalised it’s #DesignatedSurvivor60Days. It’s time for a rewatch!

Guess who has to check in to the hospital and has to stay for at least 48 hours due to back and left leg pain?

Good morning. Woke up every 2 hours in pain through the night, I can’t lay down or sit. The only way it’s to stand up and that means, I can’t sleep at all. I just want to feel better.

Ended up in the ER yesterday after a week of doctors misdiagnosing how much pain I was feeling on my left leg. Turns out I have a herniated disk. It feels like a screwdriver is stabbing my thigh and someone is sawing my ankle. It’s the worst pain I have ever felt and I don’t wish it upon anyone.
