An Indigenous thinker you should know is Silvia Rivera Cusicanqui. She's an Aymara sociologist and professor at a top university in Bolivia (UMSA). She centers Native leaders in her research like Tupac Katari & the cacique apoderados. She's also a philosopher ¹/
Cusicanqui's main work is on ch'ixi, or multicolored in Aymara. Beyond binary logic in Europe, the Native world has mutliplicity, or chi'ixi. Applied to society, ch'ixi allows Natives to resist assimilation, reindigenize, and create an Indigenous multicultural world ²/
