It's wild how I'm not generally a delusional person but every few months I freshly think "Hey I should try syncing my phone to my iTunes library again, maybe this time it'll work"
It is genuinely wild to me that so much of our "this makes life a bit better" tech (music apps, casual games, cable TV) was at its operational peak about a decade ago and has gone rapidly downhill ever since.
I prefer to listen to music an album at a time, and it is so bizarre to me that only about 5% of the time Apple Music shows me a "Play Last" option when I click the menu on something to queue up later. Usually the only option is "Play next", to insert one album directly in the middle of another.
After the last update it keeps wanting to make suggestions for additions to my playlists. And since most of my playlists are single-artist, this is especially annoying. (No, I don't want to add any Waxahatchee to my Wye Oak playlist!)
My "What you should listen to next" row is always just albums I just finished listening to. No! Suggest something new to me!
Honestly most of the time I just listen locally using an old media player or records, and just use streaming when I'm on the go because the interface is so bad.
