Other tactics: Mute the volume; switch from live video to the pitch-by-pitch text-and-graphics display; turn off the game entirely and don't turn it back on until I get an alert on my phone that we're mounting a comeback. (Sports fandom is such a relaxting pastime.)
Whenever I'm stressed about how shakily the Braves are playing (as I have been for about two straight months now), I prefer to watch their games on my iPad rather than the TV, because I feel like if they're physically smaller they can't hurt me as badly.
