It is genuinely hard to recommend people enter librarianship right now. And if you do, I suggest remaining fairly unknown. The absurd shit people with even a hint of being well known deal with right now...

There's a grandmother teaching some teenagers Irish language phrases and talking about how hard it's been to keep the language alive. There's a few folks resting. Lots of folks reading. Others catching up over coffee and shared commutes. Trains > Cars.
