dnd 2024 thought: surprising your opponents only gives them disadvantage on initiative. An underwhelming effect for the best tactical decision you can make.

#dnd 2024 thought: Tying ability increases to backgrounds is as arbitrary as tying them to species. From a gameplay perspective, it's better to tie them to classes, so you're not forced to select a specific background/species for your class to be effective.

Cara is getting praise for the portfolio page, which is really cool, but what I really like is that you can rearrange the pictures before posting them. I've waited years for this basic feature!
