We are going in fully loaded. Going to the movies was huge for me as a kid, so I’m really excited to have this experience with her.

Honestly, going to the movies are some of my favorite childhood memories. Excellent grandparenting!

I told my five-year-old in the car this very day that we’re just getting popcorn and a drink and he said “but why can’t I get sour patch kids too?” I folded like the Spanish Annoucer’s Table. The movies rule! Even tho the prices are criminal!

They are, it’s ridiculous. I haven’t gone in years because of… well, everything, but it’s such a delightful treat when you’re young

This was the cost to go to the drive-ins on the weekend. A combo was a drink and popcorn. (I'm in Australia so actual numbers don't mean much)

That is pretty wild. Do drive in theaters do well there? They struggle like mad in the US.

There's one left in my city (Sydney) they do alright - a mix of new release and revival works well - we were watching 10 Things I Hate About You.

But did you sneak 4 kids in by having them in the trunk? That's how you stretch your dollar.

It’s a flat rate per car which takes all the fun out of it.
