When I was a kid, we would hear maybe two or three city/club fireworks displays on or the night before the Fourth and a couple of bottle rockets maybe. Same neighborhood now sounds like war zone for at least a week. Last night there was a solid barrage of explosions for an hour or more.
the stray midnight firecrackers started last week here and will probably keep going until late July, people will just set off one or two for their own obscure reasons
yeah that's more common here too now 😫 last weekend a neighbor set off some horrible screaming things that sounded like they went through the living room
